Bluthner Pianos have been manufactured in Leipzig, Germany since 1853.  Members of the Bluthner family have always adhered to the tradition of hand made quality.  Today Ingbert Bluthner-Haessler manages the firm together with his two sons, Christian and Knut.  They insure that the tonal character of the instruments and the excellence of their handcrafted manufacturing numbers Bluthner instruments with the best on the market.

We are proud to offer Bluthner pianos.  They have several unique features including the Aliquot System of stringing, which includes a fourth string for every note in the treble section; this string picks up the vibrations sympathetically and enhances the overtone spectrum of the instrument.  The Bluthner action offers a great deal of control and is consistent throughout the dynamic ranges.  The tone is solid and clear with a very open sound.  Bluthner pianos work well for all types of music, and we are excited to represent this fine line of pianos.
